10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. 10. SMS COMMUNICATIONS

In Short: We collect your phone number with your consent to send you SMS messages related to our services. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Geek Powered of WI, LLC. may collect your mobile phone number when you voluntarily provide it to us — for example, when filling out a contact form, signing up for a service, or engaging with our team directly. By providing your phone number and consenting to receive SMS communications, you agree to receive text messages from Geek Powered related to the following:

Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
Project updates and service notifications
Billing inquiries and account status
Follow-up communications related to services you have requested

The information (phone numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Message Frequency
